Earlier tonight I attend the monthly English play-reading at le Pavé d'Orsay. This was by far the best attended of all the readings thus far, with around 30 people present. As one who helps publicize these events, it was encouraging to see all the people present. I sat next to a man named Charlie, who is originally from the Bronx in New York. I recognized him from the previous play reading.
The story was of a 2 couples on the first night of their honeymoons. The new husband (on his second marriage) discovers that his ex-wife is on her honeymoon at the same hotel in New Jersey. The story line was interesting and his the actors did well portraying the characters.
