to a story about the death of contemporary Christian music pioneer Larry Norman this past Sunday.
CCM is big business today. This is largely due to CCM pioneers like Larry Norman.
I remember listening to him in the 1970s. One of his most famous songs was "I Wish We'd All Been Ready," a song sung theoretically by somone left behind after the Rapture.
He certainly took much heat from the establishment for breaking the mold. Like many pioneers, he now appears like a genius, a prophet.
Rest in peace Larry Norman. Say hi to my mom. I'll look forward to meeting you someday on the other side.
