Facing the Giants

Last night my wife, my father, and I watched the movie "Facing the Giants." This film was pretty much all done by a Baptist church in the southern Georgia country town of Albany. But while it was done by a church, I didn't find it cheesy. The quality of the script, acting, and editing were all good.

I was thrilled to hear of this church's vision to communicate with young people and willingness to use film to do so. Like the men of Issachar in the Old Testament, this church seems to understand our time and what needs to be done.
